Emergency Assitance Providers:

MEDEX (for Group Coverage): With over a quarter of a century of experience providing medical assistance to travelers and expatriates, and an unsurpassed provider network in over 100 countries, MEDEX is the preferred solution for organizations all over the world. MEDEX provides peace of mind with 24hr, professional multi-lingual assistance with medical, travel, and personal emergencies, including medical transportation.

When MEDEX is contacted by an insured person that has been, or is about to be hospitalized, they will contact the hospital immediately to arrange for direct payment of the "reasonable & customary" eligible charges. In many instances, the Assistance Provider has been able to negotiate a significantly lower charge in advance than the patient would have been charged had they paid the charges locally and then submitted a claim for reimbursement. It is therefore in everyone's interest to ensure that MEDEX is contacted in advance or as soon as possible in connection with a foreign hospital admission.

SELECTCARE (for Individual Coverage): You will have access to critical services in any number of emergency situations. Our Worldwide Emergency Assistance Hotline is staffed by professional case managers, nurses and physicians, experienced in dealing with the complexities of healthcare systems around the world.

If you require any medical care, please call Worldwide Emergency Assistance as soon as possible. SELECTCARE will manage your care in your interest, and in accordance with the benefits of your policy. By involving Worldwide Emergency Assistance as early as possible, you could avoid being faced with the payment of medical and evacuation costs.
