employees greater flexibility of personal choice regarding their benefit coverage, while controlling corporate costs today and in the future, have several Menuflex Benefits Programs to choose from in lieu of a traditional group program. | | | | Why not a traditional Group Program?
Group Insurers typically require 100% of all full-time staff in a group of under ten employees to participate initially and at all times in the future, and the employer to contribute at least 50% of the monthly cost.
In many small groups, there are always one or two employees who do not want the coverage, or cannot afford the cost even at 50%.
But Menuflex Programs offer a very viable alternative because: | | | | - there are no participation requirements from the group, and participation is voluntary,
- employer contributions are optional. For example, our Basic & PLUS programs can be implemented on a fully employee-paid basis, while our MDSA program is designed around a defined employer contribution,
- participants can pick the coverage that best meets their need and ablility to afford,
- there is no administration involvement for the employer other than distributing the Program flyers and Application Forms / Health Declarations
- there are no membership fees & no medicals.

| Menuflex Basic / PLUS Our flagship plans, the Menuflex Basic or Menuflex PLUS Programs have been designed for the individual requiring benefits protection, including, but not limited to casual / contract / part-time employees, these plans are fully portable for participants, flexible in design and intended to meet the needs of a wide variety of personal and employment situations.
These plans are easily offered on a voluntary participation basis without any minimum participation
required from an employer group. They do not change the employment relationship with contract workers, and there is no administration involvement for the employer! Menuflex MDSA (Medical & Dental Spending Account) The new MDSA Program incorporates a "Medical & Dental Spending Account", enabling employers and self-employed individuals to pre-determine and "freeze" their health and dental costs and avoid significant unnual cost increases due to "inflationary trend factors" imposed by insurers in the annual renewal. Best of all, with an MDSA Program, you'll have more flexibility and personal choice

| Menuflex SELECT The new SELECT
version of the Program incorporates a 20% co-payment on all benefits. The Extended Health Care (EHC) Benefit pays 80% of all eligible expenses up to a maximum of $25,000 per person per policy year. The Dental Benefit (which can only be purchased with the EHC) pays 80% of eligible Basic Dental expenses up to a maximum of $1,500 per policy year. (Periodontic services are reimbursed at 50%).
